We live in an area where there are lots of Free opportunities for fun!
I make a note in my calendar to check updates to some of the places that offer free events 1x/month and I update my calendar from there. You could also check my blog for updates from time to time too!
Free sites to check out:
-Barnes & Noble
-Borders Bookstore
-Eugene Public Library
-Springfield Public Library
All of these venues have events that happen on a fairly regular basis and 98% of the time they are all free. I have been to events at all of these places and feel that they are worth your time/effort to get there!
